Expect to have a fun-filled night getting to talk to both biologists and other anglers from different backgrounds. We will begin the night with a welcome hour from 5-6, where a light dinner and drinks will be served. Immediately after, at 6 pm, we will jump into 3 unique presentations from people of varying backgrounds (DWR, Trout Unlimited, and Social Media). These three presentations will cover the sides of fisheries management and use that we might not know about.
Following these presentations, there will be a panel discussion which will include both members of the public and professionals, who will be answering a variety of questions regarding fish, fish management, engagement, and other aspects, we are professional and anglers think about when managing or using the resource. This event will hopefully engage you as the audience, where you get a chance to rebut, comment, or ask follow-up questions, sparking a unique back-and-forth discussion, which does not normally occur on a typical phone call with the biologist. We will have a final 30-minute wrap-up where you can engage with others and plan some fishing trips with people you might not have thought about before.
